It is the YEAR of babies. We are only in March of 2019 and I’ve photographed more Newborns and Maternity sessions than I did in ALL of 2018. Give me ALL the babies! This year seems to be another year of the Boys but I am hopeful the Girls will catch up. I’m so excited to get to work with all of the new Moms & Dads, share tips I’ve learned in my experience, & get all the baby snuggles I can. Who doesn’t love a brand new squishy perfect gift from Heaven!?!? I can’t ever get enough of these sessions or my people. I’m very fortunate that my people love me enough to keep sharing their littles with me. I get to watch them grow too and that is such a blessing to me.
Pat and Lacey met me at Crump Park in Henrico this past weekend and we did some sunset portraits of their baby bump. The lighting was so dreamy, I live for golden hour! I met Lacey last year at Shannon & Erik’s wedding at Bandits Ridge, see that blog post HERE. When she reached out about their Maternity photos I remembered exactly who she was and couldn’t be more thrilled that I’d get to see her again. Pat and Lacey are so sweet and funny! I had a great time with them during their session and we laughed and laughed. It was a perfect ending to the weekend for me. Besides getting to be with great company and photographing the cutest bump was that NEW LOVE! I can’t get enough of it you guys.
This is Pat & Lacey’s first child, they are expecting a Boy and his name is Connor. I loved learning about their families and hearing all about how much Connor is already loved and spoiled by so many, which is how it totally should be by the way! This little boy is going to have such a fun family and I can’t wait to see what silly faces he picks up and adds in to future family photos. I think those are the best! It was hard to choose just a few sneak peeks from their session because that sunset was just perfect for us. I’ve managed to pick a few out below, ok more than a few… no judging, just enjoy them as much as I have.
