If you haven’t noticed already, things are looking pretty snazzy over on the website and here on the blog! I can’t tell you how excited I am for the new changes and look. A lot of hard work and thought went into each site and I am so thrilled with the outcome. The display of my couples and sharing the experience as well as my personal information has never looked so good. Going through a rebrand or website overhaul is a lot of work and takes time and effort… lots of it. I can’t say it was easy or even stress free because it definitely had it’s moments, but I can tell you that it was a thousand times over worth it.
I had my brand redone years ago fully and then subtle updates done over time up until right before this new launch. Sure it was pretty and … OK if we are being brutally honest but it didn’t feel like ME. It had always been missing something that I couldn’t put my finger on or begin to know how to fix. Until the last 6 months. Don’t get me wrong, the companies that assisted in these updates previously made a good product, it just wasn’t ME. It’s hard to connect with yourself or even explain to someone that doesn’t know who YOU are especially if you have a hard time articulating what your brain sees and what your mouth says lol. I’m so thankful for this process with Tonic Site Shop, they were patient and thorough with me and the new site is ME. It’s like looking in a mirror and yeah you look fine and you did your best but you still don’t see YOU. Now, I see ME!
I started out with Tonic Site Shop’s online options. I researched the different templates that I loved and had to be very honest with myself on who I was and who my business IS. I narrowed down my choices and I inquired. They were booked! Say WHAT!? Booked? How the, why the, HMPF. Finally when I have the courage to jump and a set back, are you kidding me? I was disappointed because let’s face it, we are a want it NOW type of people ya know. The thing is, I am NOT technically savvy in the least little bit so there was no DIY over here. I needed hand holding. So I sat back and told myself that I didn’t get here overnight and if I rush into it then I’m not going to get the result that both my business and myself deserve. So I was waitlisted. It turned out to be a good thing because I asked what items I could be working on in the background so that when I was called upon I’d be fully ready and could put my best foot forward, you know with no last minute rushing around etc. Fully invested and fully me is how I would be going into this.
It actually didn’t take long for that email to show up in my inbox, and when it did even though I had prepared… I panicked! THIS IS HAPPENING. I loved the welcoming emails I got from Jeff, he made me feel right at ease and answered every question I had even when they were repetitive and uncertain. Jeff, you are awesome! I soon got homework and it’s a good thing that I prepared before hand. This homework had me digging deep within myself and had me questioning if I really knew me!? If I didn’t know me then how could my clients or followers? Panic began to set in but I poured my heart and thoughts into each question. I reached out to friends to help with questions or opinions and did my research online about a few topics. I was ALL in. When Jeff and his team at Tonic Site Shop jumped in I was apprehensive as to if my explanation of myself, my couples, my experience, and my business would even do this website justice. I went through and totally rewrote homework after thinking to myself, were you really honest and open? I’m so glad I did. After the first preview with Jeff of what they had built I just couldn’t believe my eyes. I couldn’t stop saying thank you because it was like I was finally seeing myself in the mirror for the first time looking back at me.
This process was a lot of work, I can’t thank Jeff and his team enough for putting their heart and soul into what they do and for making me feel like a million bucks. I could NOT have done any of this without them. I’m so happy Tonic Site Shop offers so many varieties of services for just about every type of person. Me, I’m not a DIY type but if you are they have lots for you! If you are in the middle and kinda shabby at it hey, they have something for you to! Are you like me and totally technologically challenged, they DEFINITELY have something for you! There are so many beautiful designs no matter what type of business or style you have. It’s mind blowing. I promise that if you inquire and have to wait… it is so worth it DO IT!
Again, Jeff and Tonic Site Shop you are all fabulous and I can’t say thank you or “nailed it” enough! You are all rockstars and my website and blog show that first hand. I hope you all had a much deserved drink after closing out that last homework task.
