There’s no time like the last couple weeks before the New Year to share all the weddings that my 2021 consisted of. 🙈 And we’re starting with one of my favorites, the beautiful Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens Wedding venue in Richmond, Virginia.

I met Jennifer at a Vendor meet and greet event at Lewis Ginter and immediately fell in love with her. I loved hearing about her vision and plans for an intimate elopement style soiree with only immediate and close family. I couldn’t wait to see this vision come to life and capture it for them.

the first look

Jennifer and Garrett’s first look was at an Air B and B in Chesterfield, VA where they got ready. They had the most beautiful first look with an exchange of letters.  This Air B n B was gorgeous and tucked away in the most beautiful scenery. It was the perfect place for their amazing and intimate dinner that they planned for their families.

We had a perfect sunny day at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens for their ceremony where they exchanged their Vows and celebrated with their families. Smiles were permanently placed on everyone’s face the entire time and I have the photos to prove it!

They had a champagne toast, a small yet beautifully prepared lunch, and then we tossed flower petals for their group photo op. (Side note: It was such a fun way to incorporate everyone in on the fun!)

We later explored the grounds and captured beyond amazing portraits of them both. Many onlookers gave their congratulations and it lit up both their faces.

Jennifer & Garrett, I am so thankful that our paths crossed and that I got to be apart of the beginning of your story together as husband and wife. You are both one of the most kindest, humblest couples I have ever met and a JOY to spend time with. I loved getting to laugh and explore with you both during your engagement session and the wedding day.
