Barn at Edgewood Mountain View Ceremony | Neal & Maggie

August 4, 2021

Maggie and Neal were married on June 5, 2021 in a beautiful mountain view ceremony at Barn at Edgewood. (I know, I know I’m a little late on sharing their big day!)

I loved, and I mean LOVED, how excited and anxious Neal was to see Maggie. I mean, most grooms are, but Neal was just ready to go. All that anticipation made their first look the sweetest thing. Having a first look is definitely based off of preference. Neal was the epitome of what you dream of to experience and capture for a first look. He just couldn’t hold it together when he finally saw her and got to touch her.

He also cried during their ceremony as she walked towards him, proving that a first look does not necessarily take away from that moment! (If you’re on the fence about having a first look, watch this reel and see if that helps make the decision easier!)

The day ended up being really hot, but they both pushed through. It was a relief that their ceremony place not only overlooked the mountains, there were trees that offered shade with a nice breeze.

There were so many things about Maggie and Neal’s day that stood out but one of my favorites was that we were able to capture some photos of the two of them dancing in their reception space before everyone was there.

They also had a donut wall, which ya’ll know is MY THING! I was definitely OBSESSED.

The bridal party was so much fun. We captured some amazing dancing photos at the reception.

I also loved that, because Maggie’s bridesmaids are in the photo/video world, they were so excited to learn the behind the scenes of how I styled the flatlays and I got to share some tips and tricks with them.

There was a super special moment, right before Neal’s and Maggie’s first look, when Neal gave a short speech to his groomsmen about how they had impacted his life. The sweet moment was quickly followed by all the groomsmen poking their heads out the window from where they were getting ready to witness the first look.

Maggie and Neal’s bubble exit turned out absolutely INCREDIBLE, and if you don’t believe me, just check out those images below!

Mr. and Mrs. Spivey, it was a complete JOY to capture this day for you to cherish forever.

xoxo,

Arli
