Raven's Roost Overlook Elopement in Blue Ridge VA

I’ve been eagerly awaiting to share this one and I’m beyond excited to share Brooke & Mark’s Raven’s Roost Overlook Elopement and Garden celebration with you all.

Mark proposed to Brooke at Raven’s Roost Overlook in the Blue Ridge Parkway located in Virginia, so when their original wedding plans didn’t work out due to COVID-19 they knew exactly what to do and where to do it. I LOVED that they decided to elope in a spot that holds a special place to them both and brought them back to where their commitment really began between the two. Now they have two incredible moments to share with a place they love so much- and who could blame them!?!? Do you see that view!

Duke was by their side the entire time and of course giving me all the magic, I’m so glad he loves the camera!

Valley Garden Co. really had us all in awe with her floral designs throughout the day and I couldn’t get enough of them. They smelled as INCREDIBLE as they looked you guys. Brooke implemented so many special details that we both love and I’m so grateful for her amazing taste in details/style. Pink, bows, lots of details, YES YES YES! She thought of everything and even had gifts for ME on their wedding day. Seriously, I could have cried. I got spoiled with Jimmy Johns and the largest bag of Haribo gummy bears I’ve seen lol. It was magic on top of magic the entire day.

We drove to Raven’s Roost with their families and bridal party where a couple who was picnicking in the ceremony spot, so graciously showed kindness to allow us to crash their picnic, literally! THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH for being so loving to us!

The view was dynamite and the love and support could have filled those mountains a thousand times. Everyone cried during the ceremony including me as we listened to their handwritten vows for one another. These two are truly one of a kind and I’ve never known so much that two people were destined for one another. They are both the epitome of the saying ” the hands and feet of Jesus”. Duke even joined in on the ring exchange giving his final approval and making a commitment to them as well. I love this “family time” shot of them!

We celebrated in their gorgeous backyard, garden style and it was the best time. I love an intimate setting and the smiles on their faces the entire time blessed me immensely. The cherry on top is that we will get to celebrate next year for their 1 year anniversary for a vow renewal and large celebration with all their friends and family, so stay tuned because we aren’t quite done bringing the magic and love.
