I shot Sam and Aubrey’s engagement session at Castle Hill and if you know me, you know that this is one of my favorite places to photograph my couples. Quick side note for newly engaged couples- If you’re looking for some gorgeous locations for your photos, check out my 18 recommendations.
The Location: Castle Hill
Castle Hill is an absolutely gorgeous location. If you know, you know that I am OBSESSED with their stunning tree lined drive. I’m also always thinking about what the walls could say if they could. The history of this location dates back to the revolutionary war which was amazing. But it was also the home of 12 children and I can’t help thinking about all the love that was there.
This engagement session had all the fall foliage and so I fully embraced this beautiful Castle Hill engagement session.
Castle Hill’s Magnolia’s
As we looked for some blooms to photograph Aubrey’s beautiful engagement ring, we stumbled across 2 Magnolia’s in full bloom. All the others had succumbed to Fall, so I count these as a little bit of God’s goodness.
The AQ Couple: Sam & Aubrey
Sam and Aubrey planned their engagement session on a date day. Note to engaged couples who still need their engagement photos, this was such a great idea! They familiarized themselves with the grounds and spent the day just the two of them.
Sam and Aubrey are amazing. We laughed the entire time we were together. I got to nerd out and talk tech with Sam and Aubrey is seriously the sweetest girl. She chose the perfect outfits for their Castle Hill fall engagement session.
I loved how they appreciated the sunset and how I hunted for the perfect lighting for them.
I hope you enjoy and appreciate it just as much. Enjoy the gallery!
Sam and Aubrey I am so grateful I got to capture these moments for you! I can’t wait for your big day!
