It’s been a busy couple of weeks on my end, so it’s taken a little longer to get these sneak peeks up on the blog. Since everyone’s waited long enough, let me share Missy & Max’s engagement session.
I met them for our first interview at Panera and fell in love with how involved Max is with Missy, the wedding, and all the details. You know I LOVE all the details so it was a perfect match! 😉
The Engagement Session Day
Max and Missy have so much fun together and we were able to capture it all. We pretty much laughed the entire time.
I am so thankful that they were willing to showcase that fun in their poses. They brought their pup, Marley, with them and he was so well behaved and obviously, so cute!
I never get tired of including a couple’s dog in photo sessions!
The Engagement Session Location: Tuckahoe Plantation
The location they chose for their pictures was one of my absolute favorites: Tuckahoe Plantation. The day of their session was an absolutely PERFECT DAY to shoot and the views were the perfect backdrop.
I love Fall, but I’m a Summer girl and Missy and Max’s session was the last session that had a great Summer feel to it, with just a touch of Fall.
The Engagement Session Outfits
Max showed up with a handful of shirts and let me pick which ones to use for their photos. I was so honored.
Missy had on a gorgeous blue dress, (that she got from Windsor for all you engaged ladies looking for something similar!) and you all know how much I LOVE the BLUE! I should probably just change my name to “The Blue Wedding Photographer”- what do you think?
Max and Missy, I cannot wait for your wedding in 2021, it’s going to be just as perfect as our day together was!
Scroll through to see some of my favorites from our shoot! P.s. the engagement ring shot is one of my absolute FAVORITES, hanging onto that last bit of summer! 😉
