BUCKLE UP! The Estate at River Run Wedding of Abby and Ed was a PARTY! I am still trying to catch my balance from this fun filled day. EPIC – is truly the only word to describe Abby and Ed’s day. From every sentimental moment and item to the people to the fun to the stories, absolutely all of it.

The Venue itself, The Estate at River Run in Maidens, VA, is impeccable but add in an amazing couple with endless stories and love to go around, and like I said, epic!

When I arrived, Abby had just gifted Ed with her Father’s Rolex watch, which he left to her after his passing. The loss of a parent is felt so much on wedding days, but everyone kept him there in spirit and the details that Abby and Ed included to honor him were so special. After hearing people speak of him, it was almost as though I knew and loved him myself… he was definitely present, everyone felt that.

Abby and Ed’s day was incredible and I mean INCREDIBLE. We couldn’t have ordered a more perfect day from Amazon LOL. 😉

This was, by far, the biggest wedding party I have ever photographed and you know what that means:  lots of help, all hands on deck. They did fabulous and I loved seeing first hand the love and support that Abby and Ed are blessed to have in their lives.

The Ceremony & Reception

Abby and Ed said “I do” as they overlooked the river, underneath a beautiful floral arch. And while the location was picturesque, nothing was as breathtaking as Abby. While they opted to have a first look, Ed’s reaction to Abby during the ceremony was on of my favorite parts. So many people ask if a first look takes away from the Ceremony moment and all I can do is share every single image of any of my Grooms and they speak for themselves.

The food was delectable! Not only were there multiple treats to choose from, but they had pizza delivered for a late night snack… my PERFECT PEOPLE! 🤗

Abby and Ed’s wedding was a party because their loved ones — boy oh boy can they party! I had the best time dancing with them all and watching them all get down. The dance floor was packed from start to finish without a single person leaving, and I mean not a single person. It was hard to grab dancing images because the floor was so packed, which is honestly a great thing!

I was able to stand on the stairs and balcony to overlook and it was such a joy to see the love and fun on everyone’s faces. I really enjoyed getting to step back and take it all in as a whole.

After a phenomenal sparkler exit with all of Abby and Ed’s family and friends, I took my exit with aching feet, but a very full day.
