Oliver | Newborn Session
I finally got to meet Oliver … from six feet away of course! It’s no doubt that this pandemic has us all turned on our heads and there are so many things, small things, that we’ve taken for granted and haven’t put too much thought or thankfulness into until now.
For me, a major part are my sessions- especially my newborn and little sessions. It’s second nature for me to just scoop up a babe during their session, reposition and comfort them as they need. It’s a huge reason why I love newborn sessions so much. The joy and love of new love is something that just can’t be matched.
Oliver’s newborn session was one of many sessions that was forced to be delayed due to the pandemic. No doubt his parents will have a crazy story to tell him later about all that has happened and gone on but GEESH it’s killing me as I am sure most people feel this way.
So, without hesitation, we rescheduled Oliver’s newborn session. It’s super important that everyone stays safe and does their part so while everyone was on board, we were definitely disappointed.
With the pause on Oliver’s newborn session though, it built up the excitement and anticipation of when we did get to do the photoshoot. I was so thankful when I saw Oliver for the first time and during his session, I had more than a few moments where I was just truly so thankful for God’s beautiful gift, Oliver.
This boy is the happiest baby. Mommy & Daddy equally dote over him and are so in love. I so enjoyed watching them with Oliver and listening to the chatter. He’s a great baby! My favorite thing by far was Oliver’s smile, which he happily shared with us during some tickles from Daddy.
I can definitely see a Momma’s boy and Daddy’s best friend in this little one and I can’t wait to be apart of their story and capture their milestones as they all grow.
Enjoy this baby fix, I know I have!
